This lesson not only brings us to a new chapter in Ephesians, but to a new theme. The first three chapters described the internal change in believers that is made by the Gospel. The last half of the book describes how the internal change evidences itself in changed lives on the outside. Here we will look at Ephesians 4:1-3.
For the next seven weeks, we are going beyond Ephesians in order to look at the seven bases of spiritual unity that Paul mentions in chapter four. The first of those unities is this: "There is one body." We will study this one body, the Body of Christ, in this message.
As we continue to study the seven bases of unity that believers in Christ have, we look today at the Holy Spirit. He not only baptizes us into the body of Christ, as we saw last week, but He also is available to each believer, ministering to us in a variety of ways. We hope to understand His work better as a result of this message.

When we were studying Ephesians 2 a few weeks ago, we saw that before we came to faith in Christ, we had no hope (2:12). Now, in Ephesians 4, we find that one of the truths that unites all believers in Christ is that we have "one hope" (4:4). In this lesson we will take a look at that hope which we have as a result of our calling to salvation.
You would expect that among Christians, there would be a common faith in Jesus Christ. While Paul reminds us that there is "one Lord", he also faced those who "preach another Jesus". In this message we look at several truths concerning Jesus that all believers should hold in common.
As Paul continues to declare the seven ties that bind believers together, he speaks of "one faith". Every believer has faith, and every believer accepts a core body of truth. Today we will look at the one faith that binds us.
The sixth of the seven unities of believers is baptism. There two ways we are baptized. One is immediate at the moment of salvation and the other is an act of obedience that each believer should do after they are saved. Today in Ephesians 4 and 1 Corinthians 12 we will look at our "one baptism".

Text: Ephesians 4:6 The final of the seven ties that bind all believers together is God the Father. God is the Father of everyone by creation, but He has a special Father-child relationship with those who trust in His only-begotten Son as their Savior. Today we will look at this relationship.

Each believer receives a spiritual gift the moment we believe. In addition, Christ has gifted the church with individuals whom He has equipped and called to serve Him and the church. Here we will look at this as we resume making our way through Ephesians 4.

In this part of Ephesians 4, we find the Lord instructing believers how to live. The Christian's walk must be different since the Lord has made us different. We must choose to live the way a child of God should live.

The sinful lifestyle of unbelievers begins with what's in their minds: meaninglessness and darkness. Similarly, the holy life of a child of God depends upon what's in our minds, too: as our minds are renewed our lives become righteous and holy. We will look at "The Mind of the Believer" as we study Ephesians 4:20-24.

In the previous message of this series, we looked at the theoretical guidelines for our behavior as children of God: put off the old man and put on the new man. Here we will look at the specifics of how these instructions look in daily life in Ephesians 4:25-30.
Text: Ephesians 4:31-32 Sometimes, we Christians don't get along with others very well. Bitterness and anger replace love and forgiveness. Ephesians 4 concludes with instructions on how believers can repair any broken relationship.

The believers in Ephesus were living in a very pagan culture. So are we. Some of the lifestyles of those around them were influencing their lives. How about us? In this lesson we will look at what God's Word says about the way believers should live in an ungodly world.

The life of a child of God is to be different, mainly because the child of God is different. We have been changed by the Lord and need to let that change be seen in us. Sadly, we often struggle with that and commonly revert to living like we did before we were saved. We will look at how to avoid that in this study.

"Arise and Awake" are the two calls that come from Paul to the idle saints in Ephesus. They are two good calls for us as well! In this lesson we will look at how Paul seeks to move the saints to live for the Lord daily.
The work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers has been a common theme in Ephesians. In this lesson we will look at what the Scriptures say concerning being filled with the Holy Spirit - what it means and what difference it will make in our lives.

The Christian home is designed to be one of the best places on earth to be. Following the instructions in God's Word would result in that. So many rebel against the Scriptures, to their own hurt and the hurt of society as a whole. We will look at what the Scriptures teach concerning the husband-wife relationship in Ephesians 5.

Slavery was a common and serious matter in Biblical days, both before and after the life of Christ. Biblical Christianity helped improve and eventually reduce or eliminate the institution of slavery. While Paul addressed slaves and masters, he also gave principles for believers to practice in the workplace.

While being a Christian is a blessing, it is also a battle. The Word of God describes our enemy and his activities but also describes the child of God and the armor that is available to us to help us stand. In this message we will begin to look at this battle.

The Lord is so good to His people! He has given us eternal life and victory over sin as we trust in Him as our personal Savior. The Lord has also made it possible for us to live daily as victors over the trials and temptations of life! He has made available to us all we need; it is simply our responsibility to put on the whole armor of God. We will examine that in this lesson.
Text: Ephesians 6:18-20 The whole armor of God that is available to believers includes communications: the ability to talk with the Lord in prayer. We will examine the blessing of prayer in this study of God's Word.
